On May 16th at 7 p.m., Imago Dei will bring together families and leaders from local churches as well as DHS staff for an evening of stories and dialogue about how the church can partner with DHS to care for children and families in Oregon’s child welfare system.

A few details you should know about…

-We’re offering childcare for ages 0-5. To RSVP for childcare, send us a FB message with the number of children and their ages.
-The event is being held in the main sanctuary of Imago Dei, which is located at 1400 SE Ankeny Portland, OR.
- Whether or not you’re able to open up your home to a child in foster care, there are many opportunities to care for children and families in the Child Welfare system. From making welcome boxes, to giving foster parents respite care, to working with birth parents to help them care for their children. The forum will explain more about how you can get involved.
