Course Overview
This course is designed to help you move deeper into the community of Imago Dei, from attending to belonging. Our desire is to clearly and concisely present what we believe, and explain our core values, mission, structure, and our expectations of members. This class is the pathway into membership at Imago Dei Community.
Course Objectives
- Articulate the core beliefs of Imago Dei Community.
- Help you better understand the definition and role of the Church.
- Discuss and explain our core values, mission, and structure.
- Help you understand the pathways into deeper connection and service at Imago Dei.
- Share the expectations of Imago Dei members.
Course Outline
September 21: What Do We Believe? (Theology)
September 28: What is the Kingdom of God? (Core Values)
October 5: What is Our Mission? (The Church & Contextualization)
October 12: How does IDC Embody it's Values? (Architecture & Participation)
Course Requirements (for membership only)
- Attend all classes (4 weeks). If you must miss a class, you may listen to the audio recording of the class as make-up.
- Write your salvation story in 1-2 pages. What defined you prior to following Jesus? How did Jesus pursue you? How has He changed you?
Once the course is completed, there will be an opportunity for you to become a member at Imago Dei Community.

Kevin Rogers hosts Church and Gospel, co-teaching with other Elders of Imago Dei Community. Kevin has attended Imago Dei since 2000, and currently serves as our Community Pastor. He has been married to Karen for 12 years, and is father to their three-year-old son, Braden. Kevin is pursuing his M.A. in theology at Western Seminary. You will find information about other Imago Dei Elders on our website.
